Oghab jan, isn't it easier to catch a ball when your distance to the ball is shorter?! I'm not sure if he could have cached that ball if he hadn't stepped forward!

It would make the goal a bit smaller for the striker since you get closer to the ball you reduce the angle and he has less goal to aim at !:12:

but realistically no goalkeeper can save a well taken penalty ...
