as you said yourself that flag was officially 'elected' as the flag of the islamic republic so if you believe in the islamic republic being the righteous government for the people and land of Iran then you have got to believe in the flag.

Seriously dude...what purpose would it serve to change the flag in IRI?! When I said you can work towards changing the flag, of course I meant working towards changing the regime. The flag and the regime go together.

But even if you are against IRI and don't believe in them, you can not ignore the fact that they are unfortunately the current regime of Iran and so you cannot ignore the fact that the flag is Iran's official flag.
