That is what I mean when I say it helps Iran to change to a normal state. They will be forced to accept the concept "Sport should be separated from the politics".
You didn't get his point. He means, UEFA is not khooneye khaleh so that anyone who wants to join, is accepted. In what way will Iran contribute to UEFA so they can accept us with open arms? The country is not even in Europe.

FIFA will have to find a place for Iran if we argue we can't play in Asia. Israel had the same problem. They were in Asia before. Many EU countries will see this as an opportunity to come to Iran. Why should they say no?

You don't go after it you won't get it. Does it give meaning to you that Australia is the AFC championship?
It is more than 40 years Iran has not won the AFC and won't win it another 40 years.

Dude, are you really comparing Israel with Iran? Israel is a Jewish state in the middle of all Muslim countries who hate them. and they are allies with European countries. They do their everything with European countries. Not just football.

Australia could actually contribute to Asian football by being one of the best teams. Again, how would Iran contribute to UEFA? Fifa don't have any obligation to find a place for Iran!

Have you read footbalitarin lately. Shefers daughter says she only come to Iran if Stadiums allow women to enter stadium.
You have no idea how contact between Iranians and western people change our mentality.
Any way:

UEFA is a set of countries not necessarily in Europa. There are many countries who don't contribute any thing in UEFA. They don't demand Iran should look Sweden. We have a good stadium they can play in. We invest good money in football. We have border with EU countries.
I know there are still many things but I have no doubt it will take us to the right direction.

Doesn’t matter if as you say some of those countries don’t contribute to UEFA. They are in Europe, Iran is not. Only exception is Regime Rshghalgar Ghods and they wete kind of forced out of Asia as almost none of Asia’s muslim teams back in 70s refused to play them

Don't you think these Arab nations are doing worse with us than they did to Israel? This is a valid argument to be in another confederation.

No, they're not. They do play with us. and besides, Iran is surrounded by so many other nations than Arab countries. Fifa will not accept it as a valid argument. UEFA don't see us as their allies, like Israel. It's never gonna happen. What you are suggesting is as impossible as saying, let's change countries with Sweden. People in Iran move there and they move to Iran. It's just not gonna happen.

Live standing :

Would be lovely to see both AL AN and AL HARAMZADEH out at group stage.

Estighlal managed to snach a point from the mighty Al Ain in Tehran. This is very impressive given how small of a team ES is compared to Al Ain. Yes it was in Tehran but the ba gheirat guys of Es played the game of their lives and managed to draw. Thanks to the big crowd and the kharaki penalty. With this brave football style maybe one day Iranian Football will manage to get its old glory back of beating the kinds of Bangladesh and Nepal with ease. Well done!!
