I doubt you follow TM news, CQ has dropped 3 important players so we got 0% getting out of this group.

iran's friendlies are not that bad compared to some other countries.

I think the friendlies are nowhere as intense as they used to be prior to the world cup, maybe to avoid injuries, to avoid opposing teams to assess players more ... or plain shortage of funds.
We are playing Greece as well, so Turkey, Greece and Lithuania... Not bad considering.
