I think it's most likely being part of coaching staff... I highly doubt it they want to hire him as head coach (instead of Ancelotti)!

He needs time and also improve... I read he has difficulty communicating with teammates, he needs to work on that quick! Also, I noted he seems to complain to his teammates, it doesn't look good from a spectator's view, maybe he needs to work on that...

Yup! It's the culture (or perhaps lack of culture) if you want to look at it that way... they need to work on this (maybe they already have)!

I think this foul showed us why our players (in TM and clubs) get unncessary cards in competitive competitions (ACL and national team tournaments)... they need to prepare and train the players, perhaps even psychological trainings (if need be)... we are just seeing too many of these!

That was a useless foul, he didn't even need to go so hard for that! Too bad that he's going to miss a few games... sad!

Your are right! I think JB should have chosen Leicester, much better team! I think he chose more money versus quality... I agree with you that Amir Abedzadeh, Gholizadeh and Ansarifard are playing well too... I was emphasizing on good ranking clubs.

Your points are valid... politics plays a key part too. Just look at the ones playing in Belgium or England... only Taremi and Azmoun are playing constantly in their teams. I expected more from Jahanbakhsh, I guess he went to a weak team but the fact that he still is not a regular after being in...

Yeah! He played few years in Qatar... what a waste! The problem with our players currently is politics plays a key part... it's almost like foreign clubs are using this as a medium against them

Antwerp has a very weak defense, regardless of how great Beiranvand can be, he still needs a good defense

    AFC final

This was the closest an iranian club has played the final out of the 4 times iranian clubs have made it to the final since we have AFC champions league... sad that it ended with a loss! Perspolis played a good game, maybe the first penalty is justifiable to some extent, but I don't see how a...

2022 FIFA World Cup qualification (AFC)

Folks calm down! We played bad in this game, they didn't let us control the game from the start and that's why it made us irritated as time went by... the penalty was very unlucky call. It's a tough group... keep in mind that since everything is being tough these days on Iran, so goes its...

Iran Persian Gulf Pro League 2018-2019 Fixtures , News, Transfers, Match Updates [R]

Congrats to Persepolis for this championship and hat-trick! Very close competition this year... I jut wished this PP team had qualified from its group in ACL and be a strong side among other Asian sides... Don't get me wrong it's great to become champion in your domestic league, when I look at...

Marc Wilmots to be named as Iran's coach ($1.5 million)

Its a "wait and see" mode with the appointment of the new coach. I have read that he started the Belgian generation that we see now, last year's WC and the previous one. He hasn't had a long resume like CQ did and that's understandable... not as old! Good Luck MW.

    2019 Asian Champions League [R]

Do you really think PP spent a lot of money in the transfer market?! The big difference between our teams and league and other Asian Leagues (KSA, UAE, Qatar, So. Korea, Japan and China) is that we let our best players leave (at times easily and cheap) versus others who keep their bests and get...

    2019 Asian Champions League [R]

PP lost and no doubt this was a tough year for them, it was clear some of the refereeing calls were very much against them. Aside from that they were not as lethal as last year (or even the year before). I think they need to strengthen their attack (something they should have done this year)...
