The Turk feels happy at Camp Nou and was not thinking about leaving. He rejected a big bucks move to China and will do the same for other offers that arrive. Guangzhou were willing to pay him 20m euros a year for four seasons.

Inter Milan and Arsenal are interested in signing the former Atletico Madrid man

On Monday afternoon under the supervision of Flamengo's medical services, Vinicius Jr. passed a medical examination in Barra Tijuca and the results were immediately sent to the doctors at Real Madrid; the final hurdle in the deal to bring the Brazilian striker to the Spanish capital. The reports supported the perfect physical condition of the player, who will have the opportunity to debut with Flamengo's first-team on Wednesday. He will do so, however, with all media outlets understanding that he has already given his blessing for a transfer to Los Blancos. It's been a difficult deal for Real to secure given that Vinicius Jr. was wanted by some of their competitors, most notably Barcelona, who were absolutely in the race for his signature.Florentino Perez has had to authorise a situation where Real have gone to the limit in terms of the economic and personal parts of the deal. The presence of Andre Cury, an employee of Barcelona and very close to the Traffic agency which represents the player, meant that the entire process was loaded with tension. What swung the deal Real's way aside from the affection they have showered on the player and the money he has been promised, was the guarantee that as soon as he sets foot in the club he will be part of the first-team, not Castilla - the reserve side. His parents' visit to Madrid has also been decisive for a player who will cost around 40 million euros - at just 16 years of age!Vinicius Jr. will sign his first professional contract with Flamengo this week, but on account of Real Madrid, a club that will pay him despite the fact that until June 30, 2018 he will not be seen at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. The Spaniards, of course, will closely monitor his movement over the next 14 months and Los Blancos won't rule out sending a coach close to the club over to Brazil to run the player's career in the interim. The life of the striker will change completely in the coming days, both in the sporting and economic aspect. His new salary will allow him luxuries that until now he didn't contemplate, another reason why he has been seduced by his new employers.

I seriously think Football should establish the salary cap rules like some of North American sports and NHL hockey(in last 10 years), this way you give every single team a chance to compete and to win. The big issue remain transfer fees though.
