Shoja beside some stupid plays here and there sometime is actually one of the best CD in Iran. Don't know why CQ doesn't invite him. He is for sure much better than Pourghaz.

    Half-time.

    1-0

Perpolis, effective and quite comfortable for the most part. Al-Ahli, pretty shit for a team that is one man up and needs a goal.

Mosalman, worst player on the field.

    Kamyabinia, moron of the match.

The foul could have been a yellow but the play itself was idiotic and very stupid to pull off in the first place. Truly fucked the team up. For the most part PP has held up pretty well. Most likely it would have been 2-0 if not for the stupid red.

The issue will be in 2nd half:
Playing 10 men in hot weather with high humidity, Ahli advantage for sure!!

Anyway even if they beat Ahli, i don't see PP beat Al Hilal and any east Asian teams with lots of depths

Well, in the first leg, Perspolis completely took over in the late minutes and Al-Ahli ran out of steam. That may come in handy again. With the red-card, things will probably even-out.

Al Ahli doesn't really have too many options. All they've been trying is crosses from the right, which have been laughably poor so far. If Branko puts someone on Al-Ahli's right-wing, they'll have to change tactics.

Perhaps, it would be better to let them continue to try from the right. I don't see those crosses causing much trouble.
