    World Cup 2018 official Groups

Iran 🇮🇷 Spain 🇪🇸 Portugal 🇵🇹 Morocco 🇲🇦 in world Cup Group B
If Iran can make it from group stage (group B), they will face Russia group (group A). No one leaves us any hope against Spain and Portugal. But at least we get 3 brilliant matches against good teams for free

Well that is a pretty crappy draw but it could be worse. How can it possibly be worse than Portugal and Spain you ask? Well, you could be Team USA. Anything can happen but talk about awkward for CQ, coaching against your country's NT. I remember saying anyone but Spain in group 2 and BAM we get Spain. Honestly I don't know which team is the stronger one, sometimes I think Spain plays better as a team and ISCO is a stud. #3 Portugal #6 Spain, not much separation so we basically get two #1s and Morocco.

Friendly matches is the key at this point, specially against some strong European side with such a draw.

Indeed. But dont worry our IFF officials are on it already, securing friendlies against our other allies such as Iraq, Yemen, China, Qatar, etc.

combined 1st and 2nd opponents Iran got the strongest opponents.
Only seed 1 & 2 teams in top 10 rankings Spain And Portugal. Even Germany and Brazil group have softer 2nds.

Winner of Spain v Portugal will most likely rest players in the 3rd (last) match. In Irans case we better hope for Portugal victory, as we face them last. and the fact that CQ is portugies may play som role, but ONLY if Portugal by then have 6 points from ESP and MAR matches.

bah...only final 8?! I've already made plans with a Swedish friend of mine to watch the WC final between Iran and Sweden with him!

I think from the 4 asian teams only Japan has a slightly better chance to advance out of group stage.

They will most likely qualify (maybe even as the 1st team). Poland, Senegal and Colombia are all crap. Japan is the most fearless Asian team and will easily upset those teams on a good day.
