They were about to play NZ in the playoffs, until they saved themselves in the last game. Overall from 1-4, our group is the toughest group. Would you rather play Croatia as the #2 or Spain? Spain is a #1 team but because of Russia, Spain got bumped down to pot 2. That is the GROUP OF DEATH #3 Portugal #6 Spain #38 Iran #40 Morocco who is arguably the toughest African team they didn't give up a goal in WCQ.
1, 2 or 3 are just numbers! They don't really describe the true strength of the teams. Spain is the toughest team in our group and should be compared with pot 1 teams. Make no mistakes about that.

I agree and mentioned that Spain is not a pot 2 team. The rankings are just that, a ranking it does not mean anything. However, every team in that group is tough Portugal, Spain and Morocco. Between those three though, I think the way Spain plays the tika tika style, that is going to give our defense fits. Well, we can't do anything about the draw, it is what it is but as New York Yankees Yogi Berra once said, "It ain't over until it's over!"

All 3 of them should be better and beat them.

Seriously, who are the ones who voted for/believe Iran will qualify from Group?
Just so we know, bc they'll owe us(realistic ones) some Kebab Momtaz after the group games!

I'd be more than happy with 4 points from this group (1 win over Morocco, and 1 tie against Spain at best). Portugal is a beast with their flawless(bus-type) defense.

What does the question mark in front of Poland mean?

I was one of them. So do I have to buy Kabob if Iran makes it or eliminated?

But you also mentioned Uruguay on the same day. How can we play both on the same day?

dadash nader (march 18) is march 2018. I guess poland /Uru package is the 4 team tournament in Qatar. still I wish we only played Uruguay and saved the 2nd match day in march for another team. maybe Italy?

March: one or 2 of Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Bosnia, Romania or Italy.

    May 28: Turkey.

    date?: Egypt and/or Tunisia.

June 2: Algeria. TM's last friendly in Iran before going to Russia.

    June 8: Unknown friendly.

In total CQ wished for 7 friendlies until the WC, of which 5 he thought were very important.

This is my opinion, and I am sure Fariborz verify this too.

    friendly games:
1)MARCH 8 with Yemen National team
    2)April 28 with Serilanka
3)May 18 with third division of a sport club from Butan
