Iran's economy has actually slightly improved. Corruption has actually slightly subsided as of late. The media has enjoyed relative freedom and people's living standards have slightly (only slightly) improved.

Other than people who lost some money in bank deposit scandals (very very few people), there have been no victims.

Inflation has not been anything special or more severe compared to the past. It has actually been relatively stable.

Feels completely orchestrated with nothing but chaos in mind.
There has been no improvement whatsoever in the economy. However the media has been a little more open due to infighting between the goozoolgaras and ashghaltalabs. We need to thank AN for that.

Improvement in Iran's economy is a funny concept. All it means is inflation being a bit more on the predictable side. There is absolutely no possible way of sustaining Iran as a country without devaluing the RIAL (price increases). Most people in Iran are too naive and uneducated to understand this and the cunts in charge are too dishonest to admit some things. It's a jungle.

Corruption runs in that country's veins and any uprising too will be corrupted. While high in entertainment value, it will have absolutely no positive effect on the economy.

This uprising looks like a bit of steam being let out and some personal beefs being settled so far. Of course it will take on a new life and turn into a more radical monster, but for what? I struggle to find a purpose other than letting out some steam.

I would take what I write with a grain of salt.

I think what happened was the following.

Raieesi and Almalol-Hoda tried to start an anti Rouhani protest in Mashhad.
Other folks joined in and diverted to anti-regime not just anti Rouhani protest.

Amadnews, Tavana, and others jumped on board and people responded.

why? lately there has been many rumors about corruption, banks going out of bust, insiders like AN spilling the beans.

I don't know if the government has people embedded in protesters or not. but it is very disappoint to see some folks damaging things as simple as street signs.

under IRI constitution theoretically, the peaceful protests are people's rights. and these folks are entitled to that.

my guess is in the coming days the violence is going to pick up, the Iranian government will attribute protest organizations to CIA backed groups and they will start
    a massive crackdown.

They're generally more lively than we are (all the time). Being lively, concerned, reactive and "active" is a good thing. What is lacking is awareness and commitment to truth.

If you ask me what is the difference between Westerns and Iranians it boils down to one thing: Commitment to truth.

Truth gets in the way of many beliefs. Unless people decide to rate truth higher than their beliefs, there's no escaping this spiral of failure.

Iranians still majorly lack commitment to truth. It doesn't matter if they're religious or not. They just don't want to accept truth no matter what. Their beliefs are way over prioritized which is exactly why things are the way they are.

Reality cannot have the same value as fiction.
