Pahlevan Alireza Heidari

I wish these bacheh soosoolayeh footbalists could learn a thing or two from these guys.

Damet garm captain Alireza Heidari and Co.

--------------

The article does not give enough credit to Heidari's role. he did more than just provide moral support.

The fact that he knocked out the American out of competition, and the fact that he got 5th place was the reason Iran took 2nd place. If had had lost to Daniel Cormier, we probably would have taken 3rd place behind the US

Man, I just watched the match. What a shame, Heidari lost the match with only 5 seconds to go.

I won't go as far as that. Heydari has/had ton of talent but not a good work ethics. I also do not like his style of wrestling since I think he does not wrestle with his brain and does not wrestle smart.

I think he could have many more medals if he practised more regularly and wrestled alittle smarter.

I have a feeling this was his last year as I don't think he be any match for Ganji next year.

How many medals has he achieved so far ?

How can he not use his brain and be smart and be chosen the most technical wrestler in the world ?
maybe you need to check yourself out and check your knowledge on wrestling before commenting on one of our best athletes ,our captain with a great attitude .

How can you not be smart but be able to beat that giant Kurtanidze? How can you not be smart but be able to pull 7 medals in 10 years? Alireza Heydari, after Rasool Khadem and Alireza Dabir is probably the best wrestler we've had after the revolution.
Not that it's anyone's business but I heard from a very reliable source that the guy is into women big time. Apparently he is a womanizer. Even for that I'd give him the thumbs up!

Correction: Majid Torkan should be there too.

And Agha Shoja
You did not read my posts correctly. I said Heydari has ton of talent and that is why he has so many medals. The guy is great wrestler but is too depended on his power.

Example, how many times in a row did he loss to that Russian guy !!

I am comparing him to the likes of Movahed, Rasol khadem or Majid Torkan and Dabir or even Amir Reza khadem.

I think those guys not only had the technique and the power, they had a very high IQ in wrestling.

There is no need for you to get all offended and .... This is just my personal opinion.

Mark My word today : wait 3 month till Ganji recover fully from his injury and lets see if Heydari is able to beat him. If he does, I take what I said about him back.
