Dr jan, Persepolis got 3 draws in 4 matches against the same Hilal, what this has to do with quality of players? The 4-0 match happen once in 10 years, to every club, every country. Plus Persepolis played with almost a half line-up in that 4-0 match and without their best player in Taremi during both matches of semi-final.
I strongly disagree they were individually better. We lost because of 1) Branko's stupid tactics in first match despite missing 4-5 regulars 2) Missing key players such as Jalal, Ansari, Taremi(both matches), Kamal, etc during the first match.

مهبد جان درست میفرمایید،ولی*** باز این دلیل نمیشه.ببین همین الهلال در بازی دوم خیلی*** شل گرفته بود،چرا که میدونست ۴-۰ جلو است،ولی*** با این همه باز هروقت پرسپولیس گکل زد اونها بلافاصله جواب دادند،ما باید تیمی بسازیم که اما و اگر توش نباشه.آنچنان قوی باشه که نبود جلال این و آن*** لطمه***ئی به ساختار تیم*** نزند.

They conceded 2 goals while they were a man up and they didn't even create that many chances! A 10-man Al-Hilal completely destroyed Perspolis. That means Perspolis is absolutely a whole level below Al-Hilal. No ifs and buts.

4 matches, 3 draws, how a team manage to get 3 draw against an opponent absolutely level better?!! and dominate in 2 of these 4 matches? That 4-0 is like Brazil losing by 7 goals to Germany, happens once in a century! This Persepolis, a full squad including Taremi who is more than half of the team, could pretty much beat everyone in West Asia, however east side is another story.
The first 2 games, it was Al-Hilal under-performing and respecting Perspolis a lot. They were still the better team in both games. In the 3rd game, I agree, the difference isn't 4 goals, but it was a very convincing win for a 10 man Al Hilal. In the 4th game, Al-Hilal was still the more effective team with pretty much no motivation (they were already up 4-0). Still, they easily managed to get a draw without much trouble while Perspolis was killing themselves to at least win the game. That simply means Perspolis is not at their level.
Khodayeesh, Perspolis doesn't have any quality players. Taremi can sometimes deliver some quality. No one else in this team is anything special. Perspolis needs at least 2-3 'special' players to compete in ACL.
