2-1 behind and with 10 minutes left of the game, pespes are way too slow and ineffective! They should be going crazy attacking their goal.

PP players only complain, if they concentrate a bit they could tie

No they won because the second team of AFC sucked! So slow and mellow. They looked as if they were forced to play a meaningless friendly.
Keep in mind that Persepolis hadn’t played a game in 19 days and didn’t have two of their main players (Amiri and Pahlevan) not to mention that the lost 40% of their team since they last played in semi-final.

Still, they almost pulled it off if it wasn’t for the silly penalty

Add VAR to your excuses and no IR support.

قصد دادن پنالتى نداشتم ، ميخواستم با برادرزاده ام باى باى كنم

ا اف سى و داواران غير ايرانى از درك اهميت راهبردى برادر زادگان براى بازيكنان ايرانىً عاجزند

All kinds of analysis can be made, and the reasons can be counted including strategic miscalculation by influencing league schedule and not playing in almost 20 days, and tactical arrangement ( having 2 d mids may have worked out better)
But bottom line is gheyrat is not a constant winning factor. It happens once in awhile, but chances of professional approach winning is greater.
Some have alluded to the absence of main players. Trace why they were suspended in the first place: lack of professionalism
Even their cancelling domestic games was an absolute unprofessional mistake

3 Asian leagues, KSA, K league and J league have separated themselves in that regard and Qatar is approaching.

If it was just skills and gheyrat, we should see Uzbek- Iran finals every time around.

You mean the loss of the 40% + Amiri and Pahlevan made Nourollahi and Shiri to give away stupid penalties?
