Wow how crazy 50 people were killed , another 400 injured last night, at a concert in Las Vegas, as 64 year old Paddock opened fire. Nobody knows what triggered this event, some are speculating he converted to Islam and joined the Islamic State. Others, are saying that it has nothing to do with ISIS and he acted on his own. A few interesting things, normally shooters are male, white and young he is in his mid 60s. What makes me sick to my stomach is about three months ago, I was at a Ramstein concert at the T Mobile arena so that could have easily been me. LVMPD mentioned that he had nine high powered automatic rifles, the type that Rambo would use. That is why he was able to take out so many people. parts of Las Vegas blvd on the strip are still closed. RIP to the victims and their families, condolences. Here are some interesting facts we know about the guy from his brother.
1-He has no military background
2-He has no history of being an avid shooter or gun person
3-No signs of radicalization or ISIS although that is what they will claim.

RIP to the victims and their families, condolences. This hits home because I think maybe one friend, a very nice Persian Russian girl in San Diego could have been killed. I do not know what is going on or have any news. https://www.yahoo.com/gma/active-shooter-situation-las-vegas-police-060406234--abc-news-topstories.html

That aint no right, dat aint no ISIS attack!
Stephen Paddock did it. The 64 year-old man was not previously known to police, police admit!
Las Vegas Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said investigators found "in excess of 10 rifles" in the hotel room that Paddock checked into on 28 September.
The FBI said its agents had established no connection between Paddock and any overseas terrorist group, despite a claim from so-called Islamic State.

I tell you this homy, uncle hombre trump will ban all "64-years old fellas" from entering US from today on!

Poor, poor souls out there fell victim for a fucking lunatic!
GOD BLESS and RIP! :(

Fucking sad world. Such tragedy. I have stayed at a bunch of suites in Mandalay Bay before. Never stepping anywhere around there again.

I haven't stayed at any of the suites at Mandalay Bay because I have a house here but I visited the casino. This is such a tragedy and nobody saw it coming. From early reports this guy had no formal military or weapons training and was not pro ISIS or anything like that. LVMPD did a wonderful job responding, 58 people were killed biggest massive shooting in modern US history but more people could have died. Quick update, thank God my friend is ok, she is recovering at the hospital, that is all I know. I told her that she is welcomed over and if there is anything I could do. This is the world in which we live in, what is scary is three months ago I was at a Ramstein concert at the T Mobile arena. This easily could have happened to me, RIP to those who lost their lives, condolences to their families. It makes more of an impact when something like this happens in not only your country but your city.

Such a terrible tragedy .....they should have banned guns specially automatic rifles years ago ,they should have never been allowed ,why would a civilian need a M-16 or a AK47 or similar such weapons of war ?! how would you stop morons or sick in the head people who have so easy access to weapons of war ?:12:

@Ogah jan apparently he was able to get his hands on nine full auto's. It is not illegal to get semi auto's like AR10s, AR15s but it is illegal to get M16's and AK47s. CA has one of the strictest gun control laws, Nevada is more on the liberal side, at least for now. In Nevada you do not need a CCW but if you should. Time will tell what will happen with the gun control laws in Nevada after this tragic incident. Open carry is permitted, Nevada is a shall issue state. Open carry is generally permitted throughout the state. For open carry in a vehicle, the firearm may be anywhere except concealed upon the person without a concealed firearm permit. As for concealed carry, for long guns no for short guns yes.

The old argument is citizens being able to form a militia against the ruling class or government. It still has merit, but if we want to stay true to its purpose, citizens must be allowed to own heavy weapons like RPGs and machinery such as tanks.

I'm actually in favor of ordinary citizens having access to such things instead of only a select few organizations with special interests.

It's actually surprising these mass shootings are such a rare occurrence. Scientifically and based on the percentage of humans with mental/personality disorders, there should be many more mass shootings everywhere.

One day in the distant future, all newborns will have a chip in their body that will detect homicidal and suicidal thoughts and render the person crippled until authorities arrive. A "crime-vaccine" :)

@BT you are right and this is is part of the 2nd amendment. A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. I too am surprised that there are not more mass shootings and I was discussing this with friends. I am surprised this was the first mass shooting in Las Vegas and it did not happen before. Also, your prediction about the future could very well be possible one day. @Real Madrid, I did not know you were in town last week, there will definitely be more security at resorts and sporting events. The Raiders are scheduled to come either 2019 or 2020 so when they build the new stadium, I am sure they will have security and enforce rules like no tailgating, what a shame.

I am not sure what you are saying here ,why would lethal weapons be so easily accessible , how many of those who shot and kill someone out of anger regret it later for the rest of their life ? wishing they didn't have a gun and in that moment of anger resorted to kicks and punches .

I don't know but is it like that in Canada too ?

where is the merit in it ? apart from the arm industry cashing in ?

The argument about background checks doesn't work any more either. They say good guys should have guns. Well the Vegas shooter was a good guy. He fit the profile of a decent law-abiding American, no past criminal record, nothing. Then bang.

The merit is in reducing the exclusivity of lethal weapons. With that reduction in exclusivity, the risk of losing people to crazy shooters must be accepted.

Now comes the old question of "what if it was your own mother or sister or children?". Well, the answer to that as always is "I would be very fucking devastated and wish guns were banned!". That doesn't take away the original merit though.

Inside job!
If it looks like "it" and if it smells like ''it'' then it must be ''it'' (well I took the sh out)!
I don't have TV and I had no idea and I am not supposed to be here until after 18th (of October) but the next day some family member told me that 59 ppl were killed and over 500 injured....I immediately said this must have been an army.... no way 1 person can do all this...

Today I happened to watch a video which was taken out of a taxi cab, right in front of that hotel and I saw & heard where the machine gun was shooting rounds and rounds out of 2nd or 3rd story hotel room.
The 1st thought that passed thru my mind was the fact that not even the president can get a room like that , I mean right over the lobby n facing the front!

anyway then there were many police radio conversations which talked about several spots where the shots were coming from ...then that big black pyramid like the one the regime put in front of majles to prove they are a** kissers and boot lickers ...

I used to think that Americans were crazy for having access to firearms but long ago I found out that it was in their best interest and its their right to defend themselves, cuz these maniacs are No americans I bet they carry mosad and mi6 passports....(just like isis scumbags do)!

Anyway there are a lot of things that I cannot say , no one would believe me anyway, (like the number of dead had to be certain number and the brother of victim happened to live at 320 and the shooter had to be on 32nd floor, etc....gimme a break!) as the guy said you cant handle the truth... it will take years of teachings/learning to take away all the brainwashing we are all victims of! as our fathers were and their fathers...and so on...

Just came back from a few days Vegas trip. We were staying close to Mandalay Bay. A freind of mine was staying there. The city was back to normal. The most stupid thing i have seen there was bunch of idiots who were taking pictures from broken windows, is like now it became a tourist attraction there.
It was so heart breaking to pass close by the concert scene.....

Something is not right with this whole thing.
How come we have yet to see some of the hotel video footages of the guy moving so much artillery into the suite?
Someone suggested the guy may have been kidnapped by ISIS operatives and killed minutes before the police moved in....????
There was words of his 2015 travel to Philippines......what happened to that story?
