It's great to see so many of you on ISP. Islam was/is great for those who worshiped idols in the desert. I say that because Arabs were the last to get the message just 14 centuries ago. We (Persians) got the message - 7000 years ago and we were the ones delivering it to all others including the Jews, and even the Arabs c/o Salman PArsi.

As for the cyber Hezis -
I just feel sorry for them - they are deprived of all the tools akhoonds have at their dispence. Here they need tools such as facts and logic, without which they do not stand a chance. They had some success for a while with the "Herd" approach of ganging up in the absence of logic - but that kind of success is short lived.

the corruption is "within" the system and it has almost no source that is really outside-related.

And it is nice to see that atleast some people are fair enough to point out to the corruption.

So, it could be easier for people to figure out the corruption and then replace it with honesty since they do not have to deal with a foreign government.

Much easier said than done in a system that you can not have a free referendum and election (candidates should be accepted by guardian consul which is the root of corruption) .

I think currently Ahmadinejad is trying to clean up some mess but I am not sure if he has the "culture" and real understanding of what people really want in Iran

There is such a thing called "private messaging" if you have personal questions or if you seek to engage a person one to one. That’s the proper place for it. Anyone else on this board would be well within their right to accuse this action as harassment and intimidation of fellow board members.

Thus you going out of your way by dedicating a threat to me or any other member without them inviting you to do so is indeed a "luxury" that you were not offered.

1. Suicide bombing is not denounced by IR perhaps because it’s not an Iranian or Shiite issue per se.
2. Thousands of clergy and "talabehs" fought and died in the war with Iraq so your claim that Mullahs don’t seek "sharbat e shahadat" that they preach is simply false.
3. I gave you the reason why the government considers certain people "shahid". And you either have to explain to the rest of us why my reasoning is wrong or accept it.

LOL....Good one...According to IRI and their followers, when someone dies by getting electrocuted at Rafsanjani’s birthday bash he is called a "Shaheed" so his family can feel better..,LOL…This way his family can be at "Peace"???....LOL...No wonder there are so many suicide bombers!!!
