Certain Unalienable Rights!

A very interesting debatejust started within the American political circles; Is the following statement in the USDeclaration of Independence referring to “Certain Unalienable Rights”, whichaccording of the document comes from “The Creator” and “The Laws of Nature”,actually true. Id it outdated? Some here in America (on the left side) claimthis language is expired and all rights come from governments and people incharge.
· “ When in the Course of human events,it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which haveconnected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, theseparate and equal station to which the Lawsof Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they shoulddeclare the causes which impel them to the separation. We hold these truths to be self-evident,that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that amongthese are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.-………”

Here is what I think –
Call it God, or call it Nature,there is a higher system in place of which mankind knows little about, and thatsystem has very little to do with the main religions that we know of. That entity which some call the creator (notnecessarily God) has created all with certain rights which are in fact unalienable. I also think this concept which led toAmerica freeing itself from the British rule, can also be used by people allover the world to free themselves from dictatorships who do not believe inthese rights.
