I believe the religious minorities (Masihee, Zardoshtee, and Yahoodi) of Iran have contributed tremendously to Iran throughout its history. Perhaps, in many cases, much more than the follow Moslem brother. One of my heroes was (and still is) Dr. Hayem, the guy who did the very first English-to-Farsi dictionary. He must have loved Iran and its language so dearly to have so much knowledge about it, and be able to produce such and amazing product. When he did the dictionary, there were not much demands for his product, so he did not do it for money. I do not know what happened to him, did he get executed by Akhonds for being a Jew?
