سايت خبري تابناک؛ محمد علي آبادي رئيس سازمان تربيت بدني، در آخرين انتصاب خويش، مهدي محمدزاده را به عنوان سرپرست فدراسيون شمشيربازي منصوب کرد. باقرزاده که اختلاف نظرهايي با علي آبادي داشت، با شکست مدعيان شمشيربازي ايران در رقابت هاي جام جهاني شمشيربازي کيش به خط پايان نزديک شد و جاي خود را به مهدي محمدزاده رئيس اسبق فدراسيون شمشيربازي داد. محمدزاده که يکي از ديپلمات هاي وزارت امور خارجه است، در حالي به اين کرسي رسيد که سوابق رياستش در فدراسيون شمشيربازي، به گونه يي مشخص است که برخي از چهره هاي پرسابقه مطرح اين رشته، بلافاصله پس از انتصابش به موضع گيري هاي تندي در محافل داخلي پرداختند. محمدزاده به عنوان يکي از ديپلمات هاي وزارت امور خارجه ايران در دوره مديريتش بر فدراسيون شمشيربازي با وجود آنکه تيم هاي ملي اين رشته شرايط چندان مناسبي نداشتند، براي فرزندانش مربي خارجي به صورت خصوصي استخدام کرد تا همواره زمينه حضور دو پسرش در تيم ملي شمشيربازي کشورمان فراهم باشد و محمدزاده ها در همه ميادين با شکست در همان دور نخست، ميدان را ترک کنند. با ورود باقرزاده به شمشيربازي همزمان با خداحافظي محمدزاده، بحث برگزاري مسابقات انتخابي تيم ملي در چارچوب هاي مشخص به اجرا گذاشته شد تا بدين شکل، برخي نتوانند از فيلتر مسابقات انتخابي گذر کنند، بنابراين حضورشان در تيم ملي پايان يافت. همين مساله باعث شد فرزندان محمدزاده راهي قطر شده و با تغيير مليت خويش در مسابقات جام جهاني شمشيربازي آرژانتين رودرروي نمايندگان کشورمان با پرچم قطر به مبارزه بپردازند. البته محمدزاده، مسووليت اين رفتارهاي فرزندانش را متوجه ايشان خواند. با اين تفاسير مبناي انتصاب محمدزاده به عنوان سرپرست فدراسيون شمشيربازي چندان مشخص نيست و هنوز معلوم نشده رئيس سازمان تربيت بدني با کدام استدلال دست به اين انتخاب زده است. به هر حال، اکنون بايد منتظر اجراي برنامه هاي جديدي در اين فدراسيون باشيم.

The more I think about this story the more it pisses me off!

I can't think of any place in the world where you find something as outrageous as this: A government official, using the public money to finance the training of his korre-khars, then sending them to a foreign country to use that training to face off against their homeland. As if that's not disturbing enough, the guy not only goes unpunished, he ends up getting his job back!

This disgusting story is really a microcosm of IR's management of the country in every field. You take this situation and apply it to our industry, economy, infrastructure, and everything else, and you have a clear picture of the kind of mismanagement, corruption, and treason that has plagued the country for the last 30 years.

This is why I've always believed you can't be a decent human being and support this regime. Everyone who sympathizes with these animals on any level is the human equivalent of garbage juice. Plain and simple.
