Arsenal defeated Fulham by 1-0. Giroud with a late red card and unless it's appealed successfully he will miss Arsenal's next match against Manchester United.

Another massive 3 points for Paolo Di Canio's relegation struggling Sunderland today as they defeated Everton.they also defeated Newcastle by 3-0 at Saint James Park last week.

Cardiff City are the champions while Hull City have to wait until next week to confirm their place in the Premier League but to be honest, I prefer Watford. As a Chelsea fan, it would be superb to see Gianfranco Zola back in the Premier League and Gus Poyet's Brighton to win through play-offs. When I first supported Chelsea back in 1998, these two players were among my heroes! I saw Albert Ferrer and Frank Lebeouf on the TV the other, that was pretty surreal!

Vertonghen with a good tackle on Nasri to save a goal scoring chance.Dempsey with a free header that went wide. Tevez with a header saved by Lloris. Barry hit the ball with his hand inside Man City box .could have been a penalty and 2nd yellow to Barry but nothing given. Nasri with a bad tackle on Walker but nothing given. Joe Hart with a good save on Dempsey.

And Gareth Bale has disappeared from the pitch half way through the half. taking an early flight to Madrid.
