Free kicks

In the last 5 games TM has played more than half of the goals they have scored has been from (direct or indirect) free kicks. This is a big improvement in an area where we have always performed very poorly. You have to give the credit to Branko. Apparently they have worked hard on those.

while i agree Mahdavikia and Zandi deserve credit... I think we should also look at what our forwards are doing in the box. These guys (Mahdavikia especially since Zandi is a relatively new addition) have been giving good crosses... its a matter of hte forwards (or defenders in rezaei's case) being able to finish...
much credit to the coaches for improving our set pieces.

I think there was a coached plan to have Mehdi cross to even behind the far post and have a header as a pass back to the middle.. this happened more than once... not just on Yahya's pass... the Korean's kept thinking we will cross to the middle area and this looked intentional that we didn't.
