Grande Capitano, Grande Capitano!
He finally scored his goal this season, made my day. Im so happy I just cant explain how happy I am right now. Del Piero scored a fine goal vs Roma in Coppa Italia, and we beat them 3-0 playing outstanding, OMG this was like a dream. BTW I know Im late but I just watched Juve vs roma and napoli vs inter. Tommorow if I have time I'll watch Barcelna vs Madrid and Milan vs Lazio. So please dont spoil it. I already hear about City vs Liverpool so that one is fine. Here is the Goal.

I just wished he retire with the club just like Maldini and Baresi did at Milan. But oh well I still support him anywhere he goes. Hope he come here in the states. He loves NY and his wife family is from NJ so he would feel home here. Del Piero is Juventus!
BTW Cavani was outstanding against Inter just look at this one...

congrats on Del Piero's goal... he's got some skills :) the Totti + Del Piero combo was always my favorite in the azzurri

a note on the Inter game however.. the ref kinda screwed us over, but it was up to us to finish our chances.. I think 1-1 would've been a more fair results (going to extra time... ).. oh well :) This season, Inter is a write-off.. I just hope we make it to CL.

I do agree him and Totti were great together but unfortunately all the coaches never wanted to have both of them in the field in the same time except Dino Zoff who played both of them in Euro 2000 which they were playing great together. I also have to say I liked the Baggio and Del Piero together in WC98 against France, too bad they were against one of the best defense with Desailly, Blanc, Lizarazu, and Thuram.

I also agree ref was garbage but its the case almost everywhere these days. I just watche Barca and Madrid and the ref was just garbage. However Napoli used Inter pressure on counterattacks and they are scary in that indeed. Anyway atleast no Inter and Roma these year. As it was the case for while now.

Players like Del Piero are special.not just because he's a great player and helped his club win trophies , but more importantly for me because he stayed loyal to his club through thick and thin including relegation.loyalty to clubs is becoming rarer and rarer in this age of uber-commercialization of football.but then again it's the duty of clubs to promote and appreciate loyalty and subsequently benefit from it.you reap what you sow.

You are absolutely right, specially on your last sentence. Almost all of us Juventini were very angry and dissapointed when we heard our president Angelli announced on one of his meeting that this season is Del Piero's last season. I know that Del Piero and Angelli has came to an agreement before this season, but we all know that he still wanted to stay. He has offered to get pay cut as well as accepting the bench role. The club could have came up with something better for him he is an icon and someone who put everything on the line for this jersey. Plus the way Angelli annoumced it was unacceptable. Oh well it still wouldnt take nothing of what a magnificant player and professional he has been.
Him, Nedved, Tetezeguet, Buffon and even Camoranesi are in a very special place for me because of loyalty they showed for Old Lady during Serie B disaster.
Mashdi, Del Piero is also very humble and true gentleman. I went to see the camp in 2010 summer in NY, he is absolutely an example for all the athletes. Unlike those two asshole Amauri and Diego ( before he goes back to Germany) who think their shit dont stink. Del Piero out shined everybody in terms of class and professionalism. He handled the press the best, he took care of all his fans the best and the most important of all he is the most humble man of all of them in that camp. A true legend on field and off field. The great leader and Captain.
