I don't get the hype about these tankers. Iran has been doing this for ages. If they weren't going to Venezuela, they would be heading to India and China as usual. It's just that Venezuela paid more and Iran wanted to show off. Other than that, it's a $50 million nothingburger trade. The petrol won't last the Venezuelans more than 3 weeks and the money will be spent before those tankers have reached Iranian shores.
There is no technical significance. the significance is due to attempted overthrow of "Maudora" and the notion of
pax Americana and Monroe Doctrine.

This is indeed just a lot of noise. If Iran can help incompetence Maudora restart his refineries, that would be actually noteworthy.

This is a poor (economically) fellow with very little fans.

what mostly likely happens is he gets tough sentence (not hanging).
He will end up doing five years. (rish sefid, Akhoond Mahaleh going for Vesatat). He will get out early

His wife wont be able to feed the remainder of the family.

This crazy man has basically handed death sentence to his entire family.

in america one cop watches all the coward bystanders.
the other 3 cops murder the 'suspect' in broad daylight.

Fucking disgraceful indeed. In the other news brave Iranian bystanders take their entire family to watch the kind executioner send the convict to heaven in public Executions.

Trump could benefit big time from events of Minneapolis.
Minnesota is a state that is quite purple. even if 1% of voters are persuaded to vote for the party of "law and order" it could make a difference.

Last night it kind of seemed like the city government on purpose let a whole lot of building burn so the pictures would create the urgency for a full force show down.

The point is not lost on anybody reasonable that politicians can be hypocratic.
However, drawing exact parallels is neither accurate nor helpful.

People in Charge of IRI, China, Russian and ... are very enthusiastic about people's ability to riot and in western cities.

The important point to remember is the public in developed world generally turns against protesters (upgraded rioters).

Because Authorities can paint those in the streets as the "other". either white supremacists, or antifa, black panthers.

and once you see your streets on fire you generally want law and order back.

in places like Iran that is not the case. a great bit (if not big majority) of the population is behind protesters for quite a while
and even when they turn violent and cause senseless destruction they tend to believe that it was all an inside job.

In the Western world people have a lot of distrust toward their central government.
But people are relatively satisfied with their local authorities. This is not the case in Iran.
