Personally, I'm more of a fan of the old school gangster rap but some of the new songs are good however, most of them are the same thing benz on 22's smoke weed, f b*tches bla bla bla but there are some decent songs. However back in the day the songs just had more meaning and I was biased to west coast rap like Pac, Easy E, Too Short etc but I also listened to Biggie. Just my take on it. As for Jay Z I'm neutral to him I don't love the guy but I don't hate him either.

and more or less every Jay-Z record after Black Album sucks...Black Album was the first of the terrible ones or last of the good ones..depending how you look at it. He's washed up and old...buy his old albums.
