Well! Good for Iranian sailors but don't overlook the scary part of this news.
This did not happen in waters of Gulf of Adan or western Indian Ocean just of the shores of Somalia, it apparently happened just "northeast" of Fujairah UAE which is located just about 60 miles south of Bandar Abbas.
Not only Somali pirates have not disappeared or weakened but they were able to stretch their arms all the way up next to Hormuz.

OK, love is breaking out all over. As Motori pointed out, I want to know what are these "pirates" doing in the middle of Persian Gulf? This is like getting mugged at the mall on a weekend in front of security. I think somebody wants to let Iran off the hook at the nuclear talks by letting them "rescue" a few sailors.
