Tehran, Feb 2 - Iran will host a first off-road Isfahan-Istanbul "east rally".
A breakthrough in rally events, Paris-Dakar triple champion Rene Metge in a visit to Tehran for signing agreements in a statement said the grand sport event's success is indebted to the collaboration and support of Iranian excecutives, mainly the Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization.
The three-times world champion, also heading the organizing committee of Paris-Dakar rally, said the competitions will start in June 24 from Istanbul, Turkey and will end in 3 July in Isafhan.
According to the schedule, over hundred cars, motorbikes and vans with top world champions at steering wheels will attend the grand events.
