Just watched "varzesh dar Iran" live program on IRIB2, and they said Iran vs Bahrain is at 7:05pm(Tehran Time) on Wednesday.

btw, what kind of timing is 7:05!!! I guess Asians are always 5 minutes late and this time khiale khodeshoono rahat kardan! instead of 7:00, they made it 7:05, so AFC doesn't fine them!

Actually it's quite normal to start matches at that time Bache Tehroon. I forgot the reason for it, but I remember it was quite reasonable.

its not an asian thing, if you watch the nfl, mlb or the nba they start a lot of there games either 5 or 15 minutes past the hour...

all sunday afternoon matches (apart from those at lunch time) in england start at 16:05. so its not just in iran

kick off is normally 5 minutes after the hour, so that they national anthems and player introductions can be conducted, that's the main reason why most of the games start 5-15 minutes past the hour
