KERMAN - Frederic Kanoute has reached an agreement with Mes football club to join their ranks.

The French-born Malian striker, who currently plays for Sevilla, will come to Kerman to sign a contract.

“We’ve held discussions with the 35-year-old striker and reached agreement with him to sign him on to a one-year contract,” a Mes official said.

Kanoute was named the 2007 African Footballer of the Year and was the first player born outside of Africa to win it.

Mahbod jaan , this is not entirely correct, he did wear 888.com jersey however he asked 888 to build a mosque only then he agreed to wear it.

Not sure if that's true , but during the Israel and Palestine military dispute, he supported Palestine by wearing something under his jersey and then pull it off after scoring a goal . later laliga penalized him with few thousand euros and the fine was paid either by Mes or one of Jonoobi teams in IPL...
