Game ended 1-4 . Madrid were good in the last 30 Min . Marcelo with the 3rd and kroos's goal bury Valencia at home

kova's assist was orgasmic
This proves that it was all Zidan’s fault to exit the Copa. This is the lineup that should have started the last game.. it’s is also a proof how crappy our B team is.
Additionally when RM scores all other issues are dwarfed.. shows how the main problem of the team was finishing.

The definition of insanity is repeating the same thing over and over again. Someone here mentioned that if he could have gone back in time, he would have kept the same starting XI. Why woudl you possibly do that? I think he is just being stubborn, his early success is probably fogging his judgement a bit. I don't' know what is wrong with Real Madrid this year, they might not even qualify for the CL for next year.

A host of Saudis joined La Liga clubs in anticipation for the world cup:

Salem Al Dawsari, Fahad Al Mowallad and Yahia Sahari move to Racing Santander
Al Mowallad goes to Levante
Al-Shehri to Leganes
Al Dawsari to Villareal

And quite a few others to Spanish 2nd division and youth sides.

Imagine if even Dejagah got a chance to train, let alone play, with a La Liga team now just to get some fitness up and prepare himself! Shame...

Joke of a win for Barca. Alaves very hard done by the refereeing team. They should've won this game.

- Barca's equalizer came from a hand-ball by Pique
- Barca's winner came from a clearly offside run (how the hell could the linesman miss that?!)
- Alaves should've been given a penalty for a shockingly clear handball committed by Umtiti (it was waaaay too obvious)

Excellent defending by Alaves. The best I've seen in La Liga in a long time. They could've scored 3 more goals if they believed in themselves enough. Shit game-plan by Valverde. Total failure the entire game. He got very lucky.

I saw almost half an our of the game ( highlights) and Coutinho was a failure on the right. So We now know it's either him on Iniesta for the best outcome
Not a failure, but "new".

Coutinho needs time to realize that making runs does not mean getting the ball at Barca. It just means you've made a run. 90% of the time you make that run for pretty much nothing (giving space to other teammates and distracting the opponent).

Players like Iniesta and Messi know this by heart so they don't make those runs. That's how Iniesta can last 90 minutes.

Players like Alba and Roberto don't care. They make those runs regardless because they can.

Coutinho will have to get used to staying in the middle and passing the ball around for seemingly mundane reasons (it's a total mind-fuck for non-Barca players)

The real failures yesterday were Semedo and Digne. Paulinho and Rakitic failed to do half of what Busquets does in a game. Without Busquets, this team is misfiring in all departments. There's no replacement for him and the club doesn't seem to want to start searching either.

not saying he is going to be failure or a success on the right, but I think we should give him more than "one" game! of which you only watched highlights !

I totally agree with you regarding not calling the offside on Alcacer. However, they have treated handballs like that for quite some time now. If it's close range such that there is no opportunity to move the hand, then it's not a handball, unless the hand is in an unnatural position. If you look at both cases with that in mind, most refs would not call it.

Also, this was not a shit game plan by Valverde. They were playing against a weaker team in the league, at home, and with a lot of cushion in points. So, this was the right game for him to test his new formations with Cutiniho in the team. This was the right game to test the formations. He got lucky at the end. He will not do a test like this with Valencia this week. That was actually very smart of him to do his test in a game like this. He could have put his regular team in, but he was trying to get more than a win from this game.

You're giving him too much credit. It was so bad that he swapped both his fullbacks together early in 2nd half. That's a huge sign of a coach admitting he fucked up. The only thing he was testing in this game was Coutinho and using Paulinho in place of Busquets. It clearly failed. All in all it was a total failure, but you'r right that he could afford it given the points cushion.

As for the handballs, the Umtiti one is a penalty all year long, every day, every hour. No referee could survive a top tournament without calling it.

I disagree with you on the hand ball. Recently, most referees let go of those hand balls in la liga. Also, he changed the full backs, because they fell behind. Obviously, he was trying to recover by changing the players. He thought he was going to win the game easily, but his formation was not working. He changed formation from 4-3-1-2 to 4-3-3 with Alcacer added to attack, and the two full backs adding to the attack. What he was trying with Coutinho was 4-3-1-2 with Coutinho being behind Messi and Suarez. He had played 4-4-2 in most of the previous games. So, this was a major change to the formation, and did not work. Not sure how he is going to play both Iniesta and Coutinho.

Manam ke hamino goftam!

As for playing Iniesta and Coutinho together, it's not hard if you have an in-form Busquets between them (Coutinho on the right), but yes, Coutinho is indeed an alternative to Iniesta on the left. It's not like Iniesta can keep going like this much longer anyway.

Also, Rakitic is a good player, but not excellent. He wouldn't be starting ahead of Coutinho in any other club.

Paulinho has been superb, but everyone still remembers his shitty past days, so it could all come to an abrupt end.

Coutinho is the minimum needed to keep this midfield viable.
