Isfahan, Feb 6, IRNA -- Iran`s Physical Education Organization
president, Mohsen Mehralizadeh, said Sunday in Meymeh, a town of
Isfahan province, that budget for the country`s sports sector will
rise by 10 times.
Mehralizadeh, who is also the vice-president, added the budget
will exceed by the end of the Fourth Development Plan.
The ranking official said his organization`s budget for
development projects will be also increased fourfold.
"The government is duty-bound to meet the youth`s needs in all
fields," said Mehralizadeh adding, "Manpower is a main factor for
development in today`s world and sporting fields can help train young
manpower."
He pointed to gifted handball players of the provincial town and
