"Tonight I was watching the NBC World News. They were talking about the oil slick in the Gulf of Mexico. They had an expert on. Brian Williams asked the expert something about an oil slick in the "Arabian Gulf" and the expert replied and used the term "Arabian Gulf". I promptly emailed NBC News and told them of my disappointment in Brian Williams using an incorrect and fabricated term instead of the Persian Gulf. I urge you all to go to this page and send an comment to NBC News in this regard"
This is SERIOUS and very sad.....
WE all have watched Brian Williams using the correct Persian Gulf
millions of times: he is not an idiot. Something really vicious is shaping
here. US mainstream media is sending a very ugly and alarming signal.
Please DO YOUR UTMOST EFFORT to email NBC and advertise this
everywhere.

on that very popular site.
WE must not only protest BUT ASK WHY a veteran world news anchor
would use that distorted name that fuels hatred among Persian Gulf
countries and provoke Iranians who
have been victimized by an ugly campaign to undermine their national
heritage. Is NBC is after destroying the sense of trust and respect
President Obama has been working hard to build to win the hearts and minds of
Iranians? Does NBC means to help create a rift of hatred for American media and press?
