Hope Carlos stays around, and hopefully unTIL the next WC, apparently he was kind of dissapointed with only 6 month extension offer until Asian Cup. IFF should offer this guy a life time extension lol, but seriously he deserves to be there until the next WC.

Assuming he is staying, i guess we will see almost the same squad with few changes(instead of Dejagah, Gucci, Masoud maybe),

We will be the main contender beside Japan and Aussie.
Can't wait for it, next 6 months will be the existing period for our football.

I understand the reason behind it, to promote football in those countries, HOWEVER, I think this is going to backfire BIG TIMES ... would football really be promoted if Iran beat Yemen 10-0 ?
I think they need to learn from Champions League (both World cup and ASian Cup) instead of 48 teams and 24, have 2 tournaments of 24 teams and 12 teams, similar to Champions League and Europa League. Mixing Brazil with India makes no sense to me!
