The season starts in less than 2 weeks!


-Lou is back as the starter in Vancouver.
-Alfie will play for Detroit
-Toronto got a new goalie in Bernier
-Tuuka Rask will play as the highest paid goalie in the conference with Boston
-Ottawa got Bobby Ryan
-Roy will start his NHL coaching career in Colorado
-Schneider has big shoes to fill in New Jersey
-Critical season for Fleury's future with Pittsburgh
-PK Subban will aim for another Norris with Montreal
-The after Lecavalier era begins in Tampa
-Edmonton will try to make the playoffs
-Bobrovsky will have to prove his Vezina trophy season with Columbus wasn't a fluke

& more.

I made my prediction in the last thread. It's between Detroit and Montreal. We will most probably win our division.


Rumor has it that the great Cam Ward might be playing his last season with the Canes. Apparently they're fed up with his inconsistency, specially with Khudobin in town, who can potentially take over the starting position. We'll see!

Decent brawl.

I saw an excellent brawl at Great Western Forum many years ago with almost the entire LA Kings & San Jose Sharks having a go at each other.even the 2 goalies got into the act. LA Kings' Wayne Gretzky quickly skated his way out to the bench and watched the fight from there.

The boys showed alot of character by the way they played against the Ducks last night. It was a great statement after the 2 losses in which we played like juniors(hello Eller) in the second period.

Can't wait till Emelin makes his return. Georges should be on our 3rd pair. His turnover by the blue line last night cost Carey his second shutout of the season. Speaking of Carey... is there anyone better than me right now?

How about Michael Bournival!? We traded O'byrne for this kid. :)

Seems like the Hype will get the starting job with Canada. That's gotta shatter some people's ego.

In another news, Carolina are looking to trade Cam Ward LMFAO... to think that a genius local expert here claimed he's Canada's number 1 goalie.

Oh boy...
