Esteghlal 0 Damash 1 minute 24.

Good save by Dehghani on Khosrow Heidari's shot just now.

Game is live on IRIB-3.

This is Esteghlal's last IPL game before hosting Buriram in ACL Q-final at Azadi on Wednesday.

on a totally unrelated topic: Are Jordan and Syria playing a game in Iran today?
Yes. it's an Asian Nations Cup qualifying match. Syria , Jordan , Oman & Singapore are in group A.

All Syria's home games are scheduled to be played in Iran.

Syria vs Jordan game is being played in Pass Stadium and is 0-0 right now. the game is being broadcast live by Aljazeera Sport +7.

I switched to Syria vs Jordan game and Syria just scored a very good goal. nice through pass and a clinical finish by Syrian striker to lead Jordan by 1-0 in Pass stadium.

Another good deep ball for Damash's Amin Motevassel zadeh but Rahmati comes out and clears the ball away. he saved a sure goal scoring chance.

good ball by Farhad Majidi but Hadi Mohammadi with a great last ditch tackle to deny Ghazi from close range.

Javad Nekoonam with a couple of good defensive work as of late.he's slowly getting back to his good form. good timing as Esteghlal's ACL games are coming up and TM Iran's Asian Nations Cup qualifying games against Thailand are on the horizon.

Javaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad.

Thanks for the heads up Mashdi joon, for some reason I thought the 1st game was in September.

Interestingly, Buriam have made it this far only winning 2 games and both of them at home!!! They have the same goals against as EsEs, but half as many goals for. They also haven't played any games with more than 35,000 fans in the stadium, so I think they'll be in for a culture shock @ Azadi if the blue fans show up in large numbers. It will be a tough game, but I think EsEs had one leg in the semis. :)

Well , Esteghlal's 2nd leg game against Buriram will be on 18 September. we love Thailand so much and so long that we play them 4 times within 4 months. 2 Esteglal games in August & September and 2 TM games in October & November. :)

Easier said than done. Buriram have a real good attacking midfielder with good technique and even better shooting ability. they also have a couple of wingers with pace and trickery and a good game reading central defender.i know this as i have recently watched them play in Thailand XI against 3 English Premier League teams touring South East Asia. this Q-final tie is a tricky one for Esteghlal.
