I wish that was the case bro. People may forget one incident, but they will start putting things in context after a few days or weeks to conclude that nothing has changed. Every news article I have read from Western sources today had some very negative implications in it.

The British expressing confidence that Iran would have better relations with them under an Akhund - surprise, surprise!

But the EU and the US have both said the ball is in Rohani's court. You have to appreciate that people in the West are REAL politicians. Of course, they're not going to be doing the same type of saber-rattling that Rohani's doing. They're going to put on a good face and reserve judgment until he shows whether he has some influence on the direction of the regime or is just another puppet of Khamenei. You can rest assured that they'd want to see results and see them fast - this isn't 98 or 05 where Iran can drag its feet for another 4 years or even 6 months.
