I thought this guys had a PhD from a UK university and wrote his thesis in English and and spoke fluent English, and a bunch of other languages. I was looking forward to hearing him speak English. What happened?

Dear Ardeshir - Good observation. Of-course all akhoonds are generally slow, otherwise they would find a decent career. Meanwhile, the Brits have a history of engineering leaders with fake credentials......I bet you the guy did not have to do much to get a degree, just like AN who got his PhD from the thin air.

Very few world leaders speak in English in interviews unless they are very comfortable with the language like Bibi or the Shah.

In Rouhani's defence, speaking Glaswegian is very difficult for a Scotsman to understand, let alone Americans.
