Three points after the first three games isn't that bad either. That is, if we win our other two home games, giving us a total of 9 points. Assuming that:
- Japan wins all its home games.
- Neither Bahrain or North Korea can beat Japan.
That means Japan wins the group and the other two teams can gain at most 8 points. Of course the above two assumptions can be proven wrong, but I think they're the most likely outcome.
The moral of the story is not to put too much pressuse on the team. Given the circumstances they are in a pretty good shape.
