Atalanta, playing in their first ever CL, with a starting 11 that in its entirety has cost less than 50million to assemble , has amazingly advanced to the round of 16, being up 4-1 to Valencia, minute 75, Gasperini makes substitution and takes out a defender and puts in a forward. Nothing unusual, just regular boring defensive Italian football.

Italian football used to be 'boring defensive'. now it's just boring with occasional entertaining games...:p
On average EPL, La Liga teams produce entertaining, offensive, direct football at a much higher frequency than Seria A teams.

I wont speak of Bundesliga and Ligue 1 cause they are not much better.
