Is this the real Iran jersey from 78 world cup? Can't remember who was wearing no 6...
Yes they are both supposed to be authentic jerseys worn at the game.

If I am not mistaken this one, No. 6, belongs to Hassan Nayeb-Agha (of Homa Tehran).

As for this one, I think it was worn by Alireza Ghashghaeyan (of Bargh-e Shiraz?). I do not think he got any playing time.

Too bad it is gonna stay just as a slogan on TM's bus...

Thanks for the info ....I think you are correct ,it belonged to Nayebagha , his clumsy back pass in midfield set Holland for their first goal when Vanderkerkoff cut that pass halfway and stormed towards our box and Abdollahi hastily brought him down and gave away a penalty .

Alireza Qeshqayan did not get any game time in the world cup as he was a sub for our star player Hassan Nazari.

Likewise thanks for the detailed info.

Apparently Qashghaeyan had swapped his shirt with that of the Scottish bench player, Don Masson.

I think you can actually buy his jersey, estimated at 300-500 pounds:

It is noteworthy that Qashghaeyan's jersey no. was 11 which is not common for a defender. Is it possible that Mohajerani had assigned unusual numbers to confuse our opponents who did not know much about the then Asian powerhouse?

So these two shirts are not in Iran?
Where are they?
I still have Hejazi's black and blue goalkeeping jersey from 1978!
Not the one he used to wear but one I bought here and used for good few years,

Zooz respect, I appreciate your contribution and input here.. it's the 2nd time you read and advertise me wrong , let me clarify.

My issue is with the fans who have blind support of the coach and at times he's not what they present him as, this last untimely revelation is one hard proof.
It may actually be normal in the west to do so, as they have a line up of coaches and can easily replace but it is not with Iran.

If Karimi and minavand made clowns out of themselves recently then they are, I don't have blind support of anyone. I unfortunately have not run tin those events (not seen a clip or seen a headline) to make a comment, though I saw you mentioned it in the last post. To this minute I haven't seen anyone badmouthing the coach (I assumed only fans and some football clown like QN have) if those guys or any other figure have don so then eff them. In the past when I saw your facts and proofs of Karimi challenging coach Q I admitted I was wrong in full support. My affinity for him is because of he stood against IR years back not that he dribbled well or have pesar khaleh type relationships. I actually think his game didn't contribute to TM as much as he could have.

Once again no personal issue with the Q but I don't see his conduct as high as you guys see it and anything goes at the expense of results. Yes h'es to blame for untimely annoucnement, he could have freaking waited, if you don't see that then you have blind support . You guys don't give an inch on this matter.
Yes we have fans and citizens that most of us can not be in one place for a long time with even at a football stadium ( if you have lived abroad) , culture is different and rude, backward and uneducated and uncivilized (just like many parts of the society) , but the coach is due for some critic as well.

I hope you don't put me in the same frame as you have in the past. I yet have to see how you see his untimely announcement, there was not one word of concern about that, you put all energy bashing opposite clowns. (especially when the whole Q bandwagon was asking for dropping all the negativities )

Thx

Funny, you do not have much problem with all the bashers and haters who have demoralized the TM for past few months and specially in recent days and week, and you still have not said anything about Karmi and Minavand's disrespectful and outrageous comments, but as soon as he mentions his intentions once his last deadline is reached you complain!

I believe your problem is not with TM's moral but have a personal issue with him and just looking for an excuse to let it out.
What ever he does he is gonna be blamed or ridiculed by people like you, as the saying goes even if he drinks water he is gonna be asked why he drank the water this way or that way!
If he says something now, he is blamed for saying it now, if he says something after WC he is ridiculed then for who knows what (may be claims would be made that he did not get good enough results he is quitting or something like that, good enough results could mean anything in the eye of his foes!)

A8K jaan if you go and look at Minavands' instagram you will see what a piece of shit he is. Him and many others that just open their mouths and give baseless opinions. Being a critic is good as long as its done in the right manner. In a constructive way that leads to success even one little step at a time.

Guys those Iran jerseys from 78 look very sick. Nicer than the ones now I have to say! If the jersey belonged to a more prominent player which I recognized I would have bought it but have no idea who this guy is and he rode the bench.
