I saw that the webmaster in the other site is supporting Trump, so generally interested to see how Iranian-Americans will vote.

Funny how people who hate Islamic republic and them putting their nose into the people's social life have no problem voting for Trump. They dont consider that the supreme court judge Trump wants to put in place is no different than Islamic republic leaders. Trump might get to assign 3 judges who stay for 30+ years.

None of the above .....!
Other candidates needed to be added.
Do you mean to my poll or in the election?

Because ultimately Trump or Clinton is going to be the next president, so I didn't see the point of including Gary Johnson, Simply Ken or Mamad Booghie

Poll is asking who you vote. Many Iranian Americans are voting for third party canditates such as me -JILL Stein or Gary Johnson for example. Both Clinton and Trump have aggressive policies with regard to Iran which ends up with new war in Middle East.

I feel you agha, candidates are like bad and very very bad.

But at the end of the day one of them will be president so I wanted to see which one iranians favour. I can't logically see any reason for voting for a candidate with no chance of being president.

US voting is changing with young generation not under influence of traditional media. The rise of Bernie Sanders and influence of social media changing the influence of traditional media or rigged media as per Donald Trump. I agree with Trump that media is rigged and other candidates will not have any chances to present their views.
A vote for a third party will reduce the influence of controlled media - a third party with 5% of vote will get money from Federal government for next presidential election.
Also I can not say both Trump and Clinton are bad and very bad. Actually both are very bad. For example:
In foreign policy Trump sometimes is more moderate than Clinton. Clinton was calling for no fly zone over Syria which would have created confrontation with Russia - Clinton is more moderate in domestic policies.

there is plenty of good reasons to vote for 3rd parties.

if they reach the 5% threshold they will receive federal matching funding in the next cycle.

and i guess john oliver was too busy bashing the third parties and did not bother to expose Hillary's public and private positions.
the mark rich pardon by Bill Clinton.

and worse of all Hillary is a total war monger. Trump is gone be another moron who is gone impeached in no time.

if you don't live in a swing estate, vote third party. your vote does not matter any way, there are too many democrat and republican sheeps out there.

You and six friends want to go out to lunch. Three want to go to Sushi. Three want to go to a Pizza place. They ask you what you want. You reply that you want to get sandwiches. You are the asshole.

Third party votes are for suckers. The US system isn't built for more than two parties.

P.S. Hello everyone :bye:

I agree with you the system is based on two parties and rigged - but will change. But no one is forcing us to vote for these two candidates with extreme views on Iran and called opposition to theses candidates "asshole".
The same applies to politics in Iran whoever does not like the proposed candidates should vote for them because of no other options with approved candidates.
Then those who do not vote are "assholes'.

I hope it changes but who is going to change the two party system? President Trump? I don't think that is on his agenda, he wants to repeal obamacare. I must say I saw this one coming, Hillary thought that this was just going to be handed to her. She did not do enough to bring the Bernie votes to her camp. The media is calling this whitelash but I am calling this Bernielash. I thought Trump might eek it out but his was a straight up slaughter. Just goes to show you that Hillary Clinton is more hated than Donald J Trump.

Oh and I also agree those who do not vote are assholes, like all of the young Socialists who got butt hurt and did not vote. No matter who you vote for I can tolerate you because that is what America is all about. If you don't vote, I will call you a traitor and a piece of $hit to your face because you are killing the American democratic process.

Also another problem we have in this country is contributions. In England, Germany and elsewhere in Europe, they sit limits. I think in England maximum a person can contribute is $5,000. I think for businesses it might be $25,000. Well it is what it is and if you want to blame it on two things you can blame it on
1-Black LIES Matter
2-Not getting the Bernie people on board.

the message worked like magic.the image of soros and yellen imposed on the narrative about
the suffering of white americans by trump must have boiled their bloods.i think the ran out of luck
finally.there must be lots of worried heads in isreal, qatar, saudi and the rest of the terrorist supporting
patrons of the losing horse.in contrast the folks in iran.iraq, russia and syria must be content with
the decision by the american voters and their winning horse.

The only way the two party system will change is when people decide not to be such a brainwashed individuals and become more involved with politics and stewardship. At the moment American people are sleeping and are very uneducated about their history, economics, politics, and almost anything that matters. And I did not vote, never have, and will never vote until we have thieves and murderers as candidates and won't vote until the two party system is ruling the politics. That should make me an asshole? America is about democracy and respecting others opinions when one believe the voting for criminals is unethical then calling him/her asshole is as un-American as it can get.

I think the democratic party really needed this loss.
they were just banking on turning out the minorities like obama did last time around to overcome their loss with working class americans.
except only obama has been able to turn out minorities in record numbers.

republicans have nothing to offer to working class (just like GW did not). the Dems will need primary and get some of these worst offenders of corporatism out.
but it wont happen!
