is this about the banking crisis they are having in iran like the
2009 situation here with our banks?my dad was telling me about it
but from the sound of it people were simply greedy.they invested in
clear pyramid schemes and expected fdic insurance on their money
when they were promised 50-60% interest rates?come on who can
pay that interest by legitimate means.
anyway my dad was watching this clip last night from the former
president meeting the bamboozled bag holders and making some
sort of political come back with his own clip about it.

These people went to Narmak in front of AN's house to ask for help. Ironically AN started this BS of financial institutions or "moasesseh haaye maali". They weren't paid those rates you mentioned. They were simply paying a few % points higher than the major banks. Like Samen was paying 22% vs Bank Melli paying 18%. Samen was owned by Sepah and they basically told their depositors to fuck off. 80% of the principal was saved and sent to Bank Parsian. Most of them like Aale Taha and Samen had Islamic names but since then Sepah have been naming them Pasargad and Caspian and ........to fool people. The funny thing is the government says these banks have no government permission. Total BS. You can't open a chicken coop in Iran without the red tape involved and you want to believe that a few businessmen got together and started these banks?

type of organization in iran.if not then they can't complain about it.
bernie madoff bamboozled billions from the very rich jews in the usa
by running the same sort of scheme.and the funny part was you
needed a reference from some big shot for him to take your money
and screw you.what a bust!
