What's the persian saying? plz help!

is there a persian saying used to describe the fact that when it comes to foreigners, iranians become very kind, generous, and almost obedient, but when it comes to themselves, it's like they don't know each other...

i know there must be an expression for something like this... anyway im not implying anything about anyone here... i just need it cuz there's some ppl like that at the place i work...
