When did Brankovich take charge of TM?

yeh, i was wondering if anyone knows when exactly Branko took charge of our TM. (no the omid team).
The earliest that i can remember is Feb 2004 agianst Qatar

Branko Ivankovic was assistant coach of croat , Mirslav Blazevi with crotia in 98 and with Iran in 2001 WCQ... After dramaticly missing WC 2002! Branko Ivankovic became the Head Coach of TM ...His Young team in Pousan Asian game won the title and he could establish himself in our soccer with Less pressure by Media..
It was a Gap in 2002 for couple month when Shahrouki became the head coach of TM for short period of the time ..with final agreement between Branko & IFF .. he finaly stayed in Iran !Before Qatar game he renew his contract until the end of WC .. Here are the coach of TM since 1941..
