I know some might not even wanna support anyone....
but out of all bad apples you got to chose the least rotten one to survive!

Anyways there are many theories and talks regarding Rafsanjani!
Is he in or out!...doesnt matter really.

There are many other options....
...anyone with any sincere info on a candidate who also can explain why
he is supportin him????

Here are some ex....
Rafsanjani (well u all know him)
Dr Mostafa Moin (dr since shah times, involved in health departement of IRI)
Mehdi Karroubi (Khatami’s reform-minded minister of higher education)
Abdollah Nouri (President Khatami’s impeached interior minister)
Ali Akbar Velayati (former foreign minister)
Hassan Rowhani (secretary of the Supreme Council for National Security)
Mohsen Rezai (secretary of the Expediency Council)
Ali Larijani (IRIB director)

and many more.....

Students have asked Dr.Payman to accept to be nominated. If some one like him is
in the list I would support otherwise Bycotte. He knows what to do.

i used to be very involved in politics when i was young and thought communism was a great thing (lol). after 28 mordad, i was totally disillusioned and never went after iranian politics again. didnt support the shah regime, didnt support the revolt against him, didnt support islamic republic, and thank god never voted in any elections islamic republic had. till we have a responsible government, i wont vote. even if there is a responsible and iran-loving candidate, what can he do? nothing. its very sad that in all these years i didnt see any government who really cared for iran, although i admit compared to the islamic republic the shahanshahi government was like heaven on earth.

short answer, i support no body.

None of the candidates are true representative of the Iranians.

I don't support anybody under IRI regime!

Last time people supported Fariba khandAn and now we know what happened. Luckily I didn't support him then.. and I don't support him now.

Is this Mostafa Moin guy the same "shire maadar" dude?anyone knows what I'm talking about?
Shire madar?!!lool,no I dont.what do u mean?!
he was in charge of "Vezarate Olum" and was probably the most Biorze ministers in Khatami's Cabinet. In 18 Tir,the first thing he did was to go to Kuye daneshgah and calm students down..

This is another masterpiece by Ebrahmin Nabavi reg Presidential Candidates. read it,its pretty funny!!!

@agha shoja

look both me and you know that it doesnt matter in political terms
who gets elected over who...I mean when it comes to stuff related
to religion and islam.
Im not saying Khatami was/is a sincere man who wanted to change
the society, but not him, nor Moin nor you and me can do a SHIT
as presidents in Iran, I mean do a shit about stuff we wanna change!
Such as a secular state!

A president in Iran doesnt have the real power. But economically
the president has more power than then politically, although not
even that part is "ultimate".
But he can promote the country for investement, if he is able to
recruit "allies" in the majlis he can push through economic reforms
to transform Iran from a monoistic statecontrolled economy to some
what a more open economy.
Such as privatization of companies that got "annexed" after the revolution, by the bonyads!
Such as banks, indutries, agencies etc etc. Already there are positive signs
of this now...as a privatization plan stretching over a few years started a year ago...

IN CONCLUSION...in presidental elections under IRI I dont even care about
the political side, as long as he is not a akhond by mind and looks. I dont
want another Khatami nor rafsanjani....but to still hope for major changes
in Iran thorugh a president is signs of not being in touch of reality!

it seems like the students are backing him in the elections.

personally, i would want to see someone new. we all know it doesnt matter who gets elected, but i want a new face in..

given the current situation with the nuclear work going on, i think rafsanjani may be the best choice. he is the politically strongest candidate for defending the iranian nuclear power program diplomatically.

Ba dorood:

Do you really think that it makes any difference as WHO is occupying the so-called presidential office under Islamic Rip-off?

Let me put it this way, even if Dr. Mosadeq is resurrected to run for the office of presidency under Islamic Rip-off, I would not participate in the election.

You see, it is not the person in the office that makes all the difference but the power that the office holds which under Islamic Rip-off is ZERO.

Mullah Khatami knew this powerless position can not do anything YET HE FOOLED ALL as if president under Islamic Rip-off can do ANYTHING!!!

What a joke and waste of time to even ask people if they would participate in Islamic election (DA JOKE!).
