Your opinion on VAR

After listening to Carlos Queiroz’s post-match interview, I think he has a point. Here is the summary of what he said:
He has been asking for a system like VAR for years, but he thinks it needs to be modified or has to stop.
Who is making the final decision, the referee or the VAR officials? We need to know.
The communication between them needs to be known, like rugby (or like American football, I think). This is what we looked at, here is what we saw, and here is our decision.
VAR officials must have more angles and shots available to them than what the Russian television shows. So, They should be able to have decisive verdicts.
It seems that the referees now can easily wash their hands when it comes to make a decision, like Pilate did (I thought that was a funny comment by him)
When is VAR used? You can’t let one go and leave it to be the refree’s error, and look at another one not wanting it to be refree’s error.

I like VAR but disagree with VAR room. Only the ref must go and watch the replay if getting a different verdict from his assistants.

Each captain must have up to three times to object the decision throughout the match.

VAR is helpful, mostly for bad refs to save their ass. There should be some limitation, like if u go to VAR more that 3 times, it mean you are not refery material. I was happy to see VAR implemented in MLS, since most refs here give yellow like candy.

چون برای تشخیص پنالتی اصلا کاربرد نداشت نه تنها کاربرد نداشته بلکه حق خوری هم شده

در صورتی که داور تنها 6 دقیقه وقت اضافی گذاشت
این یعنی کل بازی زیر نود دقیقه بوده چیزی در حدود 88 یا 87 دقیقه
باز در اینمورد همیشه وقتی تیم بزرگی احتیاج به وقت اضافی داشته وقت اضافی بیشتر گرفته شده و برعکس
که قابل قبول نیست
این اگر چیزی را روشن کند ان است که اگر قبلا عده ای میگفتند داور اشتباه کرده یا ندیده و غیر عمد در جایی سوت زده یا نزده
الان اشکار شده که نه جریان کاملا برنامه ریزی میشود
فکر کنید که عدالت کامل در داوری گروه ما بود
انوقت بسیار امکان داشت که نه تنها پرتقال بلکه هر دو تیم اسپانیا و پرتقال اوت شوند
با تساوی پرتقال مقابل مغرب و باخت اسپانیا که از روی افساید گل تساوی را به مغرب زد
ایران و مغرب صعود میکردند
یا حداقل ایران و اسپانیا
درسته که صعود ایران ومغرب برای مردم این دو کشور بسیار دلچسب بود
ولی ملیاردها نفر از طرفداران اسپانیا با ان بزرگان فوتبال و ملیاردها طرفدار رونالدو از دیدن بازیهای انها در دور بعد محروم میشدند
که جام جهانی خیلی افت میکرد
مثلا طرفداران رونالدو به تنها یی حداقل ده برابر طرفداران تیم ملی ایران ومغرب هستند
یک بازیکنی مثل راموس یا اینستا یا اسکو به تنهاییطرفدارانی بیش از طرفداران تیم ملی ایران در کل دارند
وقتی این بازیکنان در دور بعد نباشند با در نظر گرفتن نبود ایطالیا و هلند و امکان خروج ارژانتین (البته به نظر من وی ایه ای ممکن است در این نتیجه رژانیتن نیجریه هم دخالت کند) دیگه جام حال و هوایی ندارد
در گروه های دیگر هم کم و بیش چنین اتفاقاتی افتاده است شاید نه به این شکل ولی حتما بوده

You are absolutely right ,it is sickening how biased they are .

They are ruining football ,spirit of fair competition and fair play that they hypocritically advocating .

A billion pound team like Spain should not be needing a helping hand to face a £ 30 M Iran team who are way below them in everything about football.

They kill the excitement and fair play and what football is all about ,if you are good enough and worth all that then fucking beat us fair and square in football and if we beat you be man enough to take it .

Or that cheat Ronaldo ,if you are good enough then show us what you can , a desperate Ronaldo looking to dive at any chance to win a penalty against the minos Iran.

I like VAR but we need more referees around the world to get used to this if I'm not mistaken only SerieA and Bundesliga used VAR for one year so many referees are still learning about this, but yes modification is the must, I agree with Fariborz on his points.

The controversy will never end with football, there were many controversies in SerieA last year even with VAR in use.

What FIFA has to do finally is change the rule around handball in the area. As it is, there is so much inconsistency from one referees interpretation to the next. The rule says it has to be intentional handball to be a penalty. But it hardly ever is intentional.
I remember many years ago there was the indirect free kick inside the area. We never see it anymore, what happened to it? I think the best change would be that all handballs in the area should be indirect free kick.

Yeah but his arm position was not in the natural position and more than half of referees would give that as the penalty, it was more of a penalty case than Ronaldo's one.

amazing how ref cheated nigereans on that penalty, they deserved a tie in this case. In a game which you can even score with your dool Var has become choosy as who gets a penalty call and who doesn't . (ehhhmm Messi gets the better calls)

This WC has the most pk's ever. Plus as said some 11 out of 21 pks from VAR which is more than 50%. What does this tell you? Its not working. There is no way we have had almost a 100% increase in the number of PK's called with the aid of VAR. Anyone with a bit of knowledge on stats would know right away something is wrong. The game is getting pushed to this angle of calling so many wrong calls and causing shitty pk' and unfair plays forced on a team. The ref calling the calls directly was better. Its good for off-sides I say and bad conduct but not pk's like that. It still needs tweaking and clarity.
