well, then based on exactly on what you said, how can you possibly say quran and such ideas as intelligent design are better at explaining the progression of life on earth. Theory of evolution has been able to explain millions of different natural phenomenons. ideas such as ID is not even a plausible idea anymore and the quran and many other holy books are made up of mostly non-evidence based scripture.

Ettefaghan Baggio jaan, if you had a fake degree from اکسفورد or were a leading natural biologist analyzing Camel feces in Kuwait, every part of that would be a scientifc model. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if you'd even call the halo around AN Damaagh a "scientific observation", evolution a "fantasy conceived by the Zionists" and Khamenei a representative of God on this planet. For the rest of us, it's plane to see that this "extra-ordinary jahesh" talked about in this thread, leading to some sort of a super-intelligent specie from apes has obviously not happened! Why even need to read a book on evolution when you can make a scientifc observation of that phenomenon right in this thread!
well let me compare it to something else. Quantum Mechanics has been around for around 100 years. Ever since, it has described and predicted the physical reality to an accuracy of 99.9% or something like that and it still continues to do so. At the same time it has failed to make sense out of Einstein's relativity theory. Does that make quantum theories scientific facts or incomplete theories. or maybe einstein's theories are false. neither, it just means humans haven't been able to use these scientific tools to describe their surroundings. You can not find a single physicist who will tell you quantum theory is wrong and we need to change it. Same thing goes for the theory of evolution.
It is amazing that after so many centuries, with so many people killed in the name of God and religion, with so many different points of views, religions, sects, Gods, and so on, there are still people who think that religion is God-sent.
This God is apparently a very confused, cruel, weired, imbalanced, and self-centric creature. He sent to us several prophets, in one account more than 24000 of them. Then he told every single one of them something contrary to others. Contradictions in his story, his rules, and his promises are too many to mention here. I am sure most of you are familiar with differences in all the major religions of the world. To some, many things are blessed and at the same time to some other those same things are absolutely forbidden. There are many more examples of this but I won't need to bore you with all the details, as I am sure you know it too well.
Now, this is the work of the almighty God. Now, one sect claims that they are his last messengers. How convenient to declare oneself as the last. No one can dispute that I guess. So God decided that his last messenger was so complete and so perfect that there wouldn't be a need for another one as long as humans are occupying this planet.
Unfortunately, this last messenger turned out to be a little out of tune with the future. Things such as marrying a 9-year old child seems to be a divine mistake of a sort that just can't be explained in any shape or form. He also made some really silly mistakes leaving his followers completely in dark. Such thing included identification of his follower. Just to mess with his fellow muslems, he decided to name two followers so that forever in future, these two should kill each other to prove the other one wrong.
In reality, there is no God. God is the creation of Man's mind. No one has seen God, heard from God, talked to God nor can prove that it exists. So, please stop this non-sense fairytale story with miracles of Quran or any other book for that matter. It is just pure fiction, man-made, opportunistic BS created to control a large population of people for the sake of money and power. This has been the case in the past, it is the case now, and unfortunately will remain the case for the long long future.
