اطلاعیه؛ درگذشت علیرضا پهلوی (فرزند شاه سابق ایران

چهاردهم دی ماه ۱۳۸۹
با کمال تاسف و اندوهی جانگداز درگذشت شاهپور علیرضا پهلوی را به آگاهی هم میهنانمان می رسانیم.
شادروان، همچون میلیون ها جوان ایرانی، از آنچه که به ناروا بر میهن عزیزش می گذشت سخت آزرده و غمگین بود، و نیز هیچگاه خاطرۀ دردناک مرگ پدر و خواهر عزیزش او را رها نکرد.
بسیار کوشید که به گونه ای بر این بحران درونی فائق آید، دریغا که موفق نشد، تا اینکه سرانجام در صبحگاه چهاردهم دی ماه ۱۳۸۹ (چهارم ژانویۀ ۲۰۱۱) در منزل مسکونی خود در شهر بوستون آمریکا به زندگی خود خاتمه داد و همۀ خانواده و دوستدارانش را در غمی عمیق فرو برد.
باری دیگر با همۀ مادران، پدران و وابستگان داغدار قربانیان این دوران تاریک میهن همدرد شده ایم.

The guy was getting his PhD in Harvard and takes his own life because he was depressed. Second person in that family to commit suicide...

Like millions of young Iranians, he too was deeply disturbed by all the ills fallen upon his beloved homeland, as well as carrying the burden of losing a father and a sister in his young life.

Although he struggled for years to overcome his sorrow, he finally succumbed, and during the night of the 4th of January 2011, in his Boston residence, took his own life, plunging his family and friends into great sorrow.

Suicide is no solution. Think about his family. How their life must be?
But yes many Iranians are depressed as it is.
