من فکر نمی کنم که ایران و امریکا به توافق برسند
البته اگر موضوعات خارج از انرژی اتمی در کار باشد مثل نفوذ ایران در منطقه یا موشک های ایران
ایران ممکن نیست زیر پای حزب الله را خالی کند
زیرا ادامه رژیم به نفوذ او در منطقه بستگی دارد
ایدئولوژی رژیم بر مبنای ستیز با اسرائیل و کمک به گروهایی مانند حزب الله گذاشته شده است
ولی در مورد مسئله اتمی ممکن است ایران کوتاه بیاید البته اگر جهت مقابل هم به همان اندازه عقب نشینی کند
ولی درمورد نفوذ ایران در منطقه ممکن نیست ایران در جایی که مسئله حیاتی است مانند اهرم حزب الله یا سوریه و عراق عقب نشینی کند
زیرا دولتمردان ایران خوب میدانند عقب نشینی در اینمورد یعنی شروع افول رژیم

in more concrete terms He wants the U.S 5th fleet to shrink and become a smaller part of the U.S Navy
U.S Central Command to get to smaller.

so the U.S force posture can focus on southern China Sea.

some of it is my interpretation.

just watch any of establishment shows like charlie rose or bloomberg shows or c-span covering Think-Thanks.
all these guys foreign policy strategists have been talking about is the necessity to pivot to east and control sea lanes near china.

the EuroAsia Group and Stratfor constantly talk about china and how Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia, Japan and Korea are all asking for U.S presence in the region.

the U.S historically has had the 7th fleet over there in Japan. but the Seventh Fleet can't expand if the U.S has to once again expand the 5th fleet for operations such as Iraqi Freedom. at some point during Iraqi Invasion, 5 of 11 U.S Carrier groups were in the Persian Gulf. 2 are normally under maintenance or overhaul which leaves only 4 to dominate the rest of the world.

The Chinese recently started Sea Trials of their AirCraft Carrier (They overhauled an ex-soviet Carrier) and its respective battle group. The U.S Navy Doctrine
calls for the ability to have the ability blockade and overwhelm any country.

The problem with Asia Pacific is that the area is too large for the Current 7th Fleet and the expanding Chinese Ambitions in the future.
