According to the uefa website Davari played against lille. Too bad it resulted in a loss.
Great cross and great close range one-timer for Lille's first goal. hilarious defending by Grasshoppers on the 2nd goal.

The only team I care about in the qualifications are Athletic Bilbao .. what a great club .. only home grown Basque players are employed
An exception was Former French international Lizarazu who played for the club but he is a French Basque

Juiciest game was Feynoord vs Besiktas both very good teams. I missed the game and I really wanted to watch it. Too bad Feynoord lost Pelle and it is disappointing for Dutch football as Feynoord was a good team last year and it is the shame they have to face such a strong team. Lets also note Turkish teams are improving dramatically in last few years. Celtic and Zenit losses are also shocking.

Feyenoord was built up well the last few years, but they fucked up last season. They had a good team that had been playing together for a few years. Ajax had lost their 2 best players and played crappy football all season. PSV lost the entire starting line-up except for 2 players and was rebuilding the entire team with a whole bunch of youngsters. Twente and Vitesse are decent teams but not championship material. And still Feyenoord didn't manage to become champions. They messed up a lot of games and basically allowed Ajax to win the championship with a mediocre team. That's why Koeman is still not a top coach to me. He did well rebuilding the team for 2-3 years, though he was also very lucky that Feyenoord had an excellent youth generation breaking into the first team. But last season was the ultimate chance for them to become champions for the 1st time in 15 years, but they messed it up. This year will probably be too difficult for them, as they lost 4 important players.
And the fact they faced a strong team is their own fault really. They haven't performed anything in Europe for years, so their ranking is very low. Therefore they'd always face a seeded team. Was still rooting for them though, because the Dutch league needs points in the coefficients.
