^^I thought the American commentators were bad but the Iranian commentators sometimes really crack me up. BTW when does the next round start? Congrats to Iran for advancing but anything less than 1st place will be a disappointment but as others pointed out, Iran is not the only tiger in Asia anymore Japan and Thailand are pretty decent.

Japan finished 2nd in their group, compliments of a loss to Uzbekistan, so we won't be facing them until the final - of course we still have to go past a defensively strong Uzbek team in the semis. I don't think the game against Vietnam will give us any problems.

Japan barely got past Thailand with 3-2 and will face Kuwait who beat Australia 5-2 in the Semis.

Our opponent in the semis is Uzbekistan who finished on top of the group including Japan and just beat Lebanon 6-2 in the quarterfinals.

The game is tomorrow @ 7:30 a.m. EST, 1:30 p.m. CET.

Couple of noteworthy items:

1 - We handed the Uzbeks the biggest defeat in their history! :)

2 - Iran has never lost to Japan in the final of the AFC Futsal Championship - the only 2 times that Japan won the competition, we lost our semi-final games
