ايران ورزشى- پسر ۱۵ ساله احمدرضا عابدزاده كه در لندن به كالج مى رود و براى درخشيدن در ميان دروازه بانان دنيا تلاش مى كند حدود ۵-4 ماه است كه با مطرح شدن بحث استعداديابى در بين دروازه بانان در اردوى شبانه روزى به سر مى برد.احمدرضا عابدزاده درباره وضعيت پسر خود مى گويد: «امير پس از تمام شدن اين اردو بايد يك تست دروازه بانى بدهد كه در صورت قبولى در اين تست جهش بسيار خوبى دارد و به يك مرحله بالاتر خواهد رفت. پس پيشرفت در بحث دروازه بانى او قطعى است. امير با قبولى در اين تست مى تواند نمودار خوبى از عملكرد خود داشته باشد و حتى به تيم پايه هاى آرسنال راه يابد.»درصورتى كه اين اتفاق بيفتد امير عابدزاده اولين گلر ايرانى خواهد بود كه به تيم هاى سطح اول اروپايى همچون آرسنال راه مى يابد.امير عابدزاده كه پيش از اين در امارات فوتبال بازى مى كرد در صورت ورود به آرسنال مى تواند تمام هزينه هايى را كه خانواده براى او متحمل شده است جبران كند.

If I'm not mistaken Abedzadeh sent his son there over a year ago to go through training. This does not mean he's on their team or anything but that he's been there for training.

yeah I know, but in this article it indicates that if he does well in the tests, he may be picked by Arsenal Academy and hence the first Iranian goalie to make it to top flight teams in EPL,etc!!lool which is a very far way down the road!!

If i'm not mistaken Hejazi went was on trial with Man U or another top team either before or after the World Cup and was offered a contract which he was made to reject. So yea his son would be the first to officially do it but most people forget about Hejazi.

Yes HOg jan ! yours truly followed his story with Man Utd at that time ,even phoned the club up and found out he was going to play against Blackpool reserves that week end .And he played more than 2-3 games for them ...

It was a real shame IFF didn't allow him or facilitate his move to sign with united ,it would have been a proud moment for Iranian football lovers .

At those dark days of Iran politics with hostages crisis one had to be a extra special goalkeeper to be offered a contract by one of the greatest football clubs in the world ,especially if he is from Asia !
